I'm not sure how to rate this as I took this tour with a group of kindergarteners (hence the absence of pictures, I was too busy being a border collie!) So that could've had an impact. All in all, it's a really cool place with some amazing pictures and artifacts from the wars. It really opens your eyes to what the Vietnamese went through and really makes you appreciate the country even more. There are no elevators and it is not wheelchair accessible fyi. It is also very hot, the standing fans and ACs are only in certain areas and are not set to really cool (one read 28°C, it was 27°C outside!🤣), so that was a big turn off for me. It's hard to appreciate history when it feels like my brain is melting. It's not very kid friendly and seemed designed primarily for an adult audience as it's all pictures, dioramas and different kinds of weapons (really awesome stuff mind you!), it's all in Vietnamese (writings and the verbal tour). There's a little cinema which shows a video of Ho Chi Minh (I think, I'm not sure, but featured him quite heavily). The chairs are very tall and the little ones couldn't see the screen 😔. Overall, it's a nice place to get a glimpse of the history of this amazing place, just go in with an open mind and remember that you're not back home in the west!
