A “Sea on the Mountain”: The name Biển Hồ translates to “Sea Lake,” reflecting its size; when strong winds blow, waves crash along the shore, creating a vast, ocean-like feel. Furthermore, the indigenous Jrai people call it T’Nưng, which also means “sea on the mountain,” demonstrating the local reverence for its size.
