Vinh Hy Bay (Vịnh Vĩnh Hy) stands as one of Vietnam’s most beautiful and unspoiled coastal areas, offering a serene escape with dramatic scenery. Nestled on the edge of the Núi Chúa National Park, the bay provides a stunning contrast between towering, rugged mountains and the clear, emerald sea. Its relatively untouched nature attracts travelers seeking tranquility, stunning photography spots, and exceptional marine activities.

Coastal Wonders and Marine Activities

The bay is protected by the surrounding mountains, creating calm waters ideal for exploring its underwater treasures and unique rock formations.

  • Coral Reef Exploration: Vinh Hy boasts a rich marine ecosystem, featuring over 300 varieties of coral. Visitors can book excursions to see this vibrant underwater world.

    • Glass-Bottom Boat Tours: These offer a relaxed way to view the coral without getting wet, perfect for families and non-swimmers.

    • Snorkeling and Scuba Diving: Several operators offer diving tours allowing direct interaction with the colorful coral and tropical fish.

  • Hàng Rái (Rai Cave): A must-visit spot is Hàng Rái, located near the bay. This ancient coral reef formation creates a complex of unique, wave-eroded rocky caves and shelves. It is particularly famous for capturing stunning sunrise photos when the water on the shelves creates a beautiful, shimmering effect.

  • Kayaking and SUP: Adventurous travelers can rent a kayak or Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) to explore the sheltered coves and limestone cliffs up close.

The Majestic Landscape and Culture

The area surrounding Vinh Hy Bay is rich in both natural parks and local community life.

  • Núi Chúa National Park: The bay borders this vast national park, known for its tropical dry forest ecosystem, creating exceptional hiking and trekking opportunities with panoramic views of the coast.

  • Winding Coastal Road: The drive to Vinh Hy, particularly from Phan Rang on the DT702 road, is considered one of Vietnam’s most scenic coastal routes. This journey offers breathtaking vistas as the road clings to the side of the mountains.

  • Local Fishing Culture: The bay is home to a small, peaceful fishing village. Visitors can experience local life, purchase fresh seafood, and see the traditional floating fish farms (aquaculture).

Brilliant day out on a speedboat in a beautiful bay . Lunch on the floating restaurants was okay but not the best food but a great location. If the sun is shining don't miss it.

Allow m Adding Some Chilled-Out Tropical House Vibe to Vĩnh Hy Bay For y Vacation 🎶

Moving away to the sea for a getaway
Car top down and we′re driving just to feel young
Moving away to the sea
Moving away, can't you see?

Sand in your feet, feel the breeze in the summer time
Stars in the sky, wine, dine for our first time
Moving away to the sea
Moving away, can′t you see?

🚗Perfect for driving down the coast with the windows down and it's wonderful on a beach somewhere with zero responsibilities. It’s not just about being on a beach or taking time off, it’s about wanting to feel free, emotionally?

- Sometimes, that kind of peace isn’t even about forever, it’s about that one perfect moment where everything feels right. It’s fleeting, but unforgettable.

- It’s truly a peace that feels like rest, a pause and take a deep breath that I recognized a really accustomed face =.= haizzz ✌️

Beautiful scenery, food and drinks are okay, not too expensive, probably not yet tourist season. Peaceful scenery, typical of a fishing village. Should go up the high pass to take pictures down to cover the scenery around the bay.
